Really not up to the definitions of canon-fandom and such, however ...

Quote::: The series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved “Harry Potter” book series by author and executive producer JK Rowling. The series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, full of the fantastic detail and much-loved characters “Harry Potter” fans have loved for over twenty-five years.

Well, there you have it. We have nothing to worry about.

Except that the writer hasn’t even read the books
Are they genuinely trying to re-establish the original, or (quietly attempting to redefine it) … good question!

Plot – tone - character identity – visual continuity –
He’s right … they can’t have it both ways. Can’t change it to a modern adaptation and claim that it is a faithful adaptation.

He’s right about the movies … (finally someone who understands how those movies did NOT represent the HP World)
And what real HP fans really want.

Hogwarts Legacy??? Guess one would have to be a gamer to have heard about this.
