Harry Potter Fans With No Life

Went through another heat wave a couple of weeks ago...ugh!!! Finally cooled off but we haven't had any rain and we really need a good soaking. Hopefully soon.

We were in the same situation but this past week we were hit with monsoons and just a couple of the days of rain put the entire month into being one of the wettest on record. It also helped corral a HUGE forest fire on the West Slope.

Rain ... sweet rain. Such a blessing
We finally got some this summer. Then it stopped ... for a very, very long time. We had one rain in 50 days; then 2 more (tiny drizzles) in the next two weeks - "S" was in one of those (ugh!)

Only "S" was in Aroostook County, if you can even call it that. More like a kinda sorta snow shower, if you can even call it that.

We've been in a drought for so long, forgot what real rain looks like. Supposed to have rain tomorrow and Wednesday into Thursday, hopefully the total of 1.5 inches predicted. We need it badly. btw...soooooo not ready for the "S" to show up. It can wait until after Thanksgiving.

LOL - yes, that is one of the positives. Then again, who stands outside long enough in knee deep snow to find out if a mosquito will bite them. hahahaha

supposed to get rain today; skirted all around my town - not a drop.

We got quite a bit a couple of days ago. Now it's getting cold at night - 30s to low 40s. Getting to be that time of year. More rain for us this week; hoping it's help our drought situation. Still wicked dry even with the rain we've gotten so far. ugh!
