Holy Crap! Pottermore of old is replaced.
Everything is gone ... completely gone.
All the story videos are gone; all our sorting information is gone; our wands, our pets, our friends ... everything ... gone

This is JK's written message ... but there is an audio message also (be sure to listen to it!)
Welcome to Pottermore

This is my magical corner of the internet, a place where you can explore my writing, both familiar and new, and where you can read features, articles and news from the Pottermore Team.

New information will be revealed about the characters, places and magic you’re familiar with, as well as introductions to a few new characters, places and notions.

Pottermore is a place where you can unleash your imagination and allow it to lead you on adventures; if you need a little extra magic in your life, well, you've come to the right place.

What are your thoughts on the new site???

I listened to JK's message.
it says we can get sorted (again)
it says we can get our wands (again)
it says we can find out what our patronus is and it's meaning
... ... but I cannot find anything that she says we are able to find listed above

am I missing something? was anyone else able to find information about this?

I liked it because it has a lot of new info, didn´t see about the houses, wands and the rest. I think it´s better because in the old one once you found everything there was not much else to do.

It says that soon we will be able to get sorted and find our patronus, wands, etc.

So far I don't find the site in any way interactive.
It appears to be a site where JK can once again write about her beloved Harry Potter series.
And that is ok ... especially since we now may get a lot of background information

(we all knew she couldn't stop writing about the HP world ... even if it is about the past)

I'm still stumbling my way through. There'sw a "menu" in the upper right corner that helps a bit. I'm hoping for something like an Index so we can just click on a topic and read away, or go see pics, or play, or whatever. There's something about colour coding.

(She has a track record of opening too soon, I wonder if it will get more easily navigable in a while.)

Yeah, so far it´s just a lot of info, lots of texts, nothing interactive.
