Harry Potter Fans With No Life

Ok ... we know that theme homes are somewhat popular, and we know that there are a few HP themed homes out there. Paint made an interesting comment towards HP theme homes that sparked my interest to create this topic.

How would your HP home be designed/built?

is it made of stone, or stick, or ???

What would the floor plan look like?

would there be dorms?
would there be stairways?
would there be elevators?

How would you HP home be decorated?

Would there be house elves?

let's put our heads together and design the perfect HP themed home!
(who knows ... in the magical world any thing is possible, so maybe it would eventually be built)

maybe we could disguise it, where ever it was built or designed.
such as a stone house in the mountains; or a log home in the forest; moss or vine covered on green hills ... anything that would help camouflage it.

I would want all kinds of techno-geeky stuff in the house. Special panels in all the ceilings so that images of the skies could be projected from them: rain; lightning; stars; sunshine; clouds ... that sort of thing. An elevator in the building which only accepts magical passwords ... maybe only special passwords on selected doors.

Poster beds with house colors/crests on the curtains; witch & wizard robes in the closets. All sorts of special effects stuff happening when a person enters a room. Spell books on a book shelf. Lots of candles (real &/or battery operated)

A special building that would attract owls and/or eagles and/or hawks

First off, from the outside it would give no clue as to what's inside.
Don't know what it would cost, but a must have is a spiral staircase like the one in CoS.

like the one going to Dumbledore's office? absolutely!
