Again with the map. I almost agree that only some people (possibly only animagis) can see the name of the person who is actually an animagi. This would certainly explain why F&G might have only seen "scabbers" and why Remus saw "Peter's" name. But it does not explain why Harry saw "Peter's" name. Still very conflicting. Unless, of course, Harry is an animagi and does not know it (hahaha) ... or is channeling via Lord V's persona. Maybe since Harry has both "souls" in him, the map shows him more. Very possible.

werewolves under Hagrid's bed. This was said by Tom Riddle's apparition. I believe it is entirely made up by Riddle - especially since he was not an honest person. I think someone took this line in the book too literally. If not ... if JKR meant this literally then I agree ... wtf?

Lord V not going to the ministry. Interesting theories. Maybe ... just maybe ... the object was to lure Harry there so that he could be killed. And if the death eaters couldn't do it, then Lord V would do it himself as a last resort. Expose himself ONLY if necessary. Completely plausible to me actually. Don't even question it.

Sirius entered the castle in his animagi form. I doubt the portraits would have recognized him, let alone ring the alarm - and most of them were asleep at the time. Except of course the portrait of Sir Cadogan ... but he wasn't the brightest cookie in the jar was he.
