Didn't get much snow, but the high winds made for an unpleasant time.

Windy here, too.

I should get your address so I can drop in as I blow past.

When Dorthy and the cow flew by, it sort of freaked me out. Maybe you should anchor yourself, and stay put.

Well, Paint, if I could just get Mother Nature to pms in your neck of the woods for a change instead of mine...

Started just after 1:30 this afternoon, doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. The lights have flickered but so far, so good...power is still on. Winds have definitely picked up - the blowing and drifting is on!

From the time I was a child, I've had that idea. Trouble is, our lives often turn out differently then the plans made so long ago...
Always wanted to winter-over in Antarctica as well.

I should put you in touch with the friend who helped with my mom's care, Paint. He spent three tours "on the ice" and has some pretty amazing stories about it. Plus it would be first-hand experience, so you'd have more reliable info than the "promotional" stuff. They pay well, too.
