Well, nor'easter #2 dumped another foot of snow on my neck of the woods. Don't think the snow is going to melt anytime soon this time. It was a balmy 9 degrees when I woke up this morning...up tp 14 now. lol. During the storm, looked out my kitchen window - saw 2 red foxes chasing each other thru the snow! At least someone was having fun in that mess. lol.

Nah. Tho I need to find someone to get rid of the pile of ice and snow at the end of my driveway. Tried to shovel it this evening...ain't happening. Too heavy and too compacted. But at least the rest of my driveway is clear.

I thought you had a snow blower Moo. Maybe muggle son will come over and blow away the snow for you.

I can't use it. The vibration from it kills my right shoulder (rotator cuff). Shoveling isn't as bad tho I have to be careful not to toss the snow too hard or I feel it. Muggle Son doesn't have time - he works his regular job (full-time), delivers newspapers (starts about 1 am, usually gets done between 5 - 6 am) for extra money, and barely has time to eat and sleep. So for now, the pile stays. btw...5 degrees when I got up this morning at 6:45.

Maybe you could just turn it into a Toboggan Slide, since it will be with you for the next few month. :shifty:

We have plenty of snow here and the temps have plummeted to -28 (without the wind chill).
Only 23 more days until the days start getting longer ... one more day closer to spring

IS IT SPRING YET ????? :angry-tappingfoot:

Alerts in Effect

Extreme Cold Warning
Issued at 3:31 p.m. CST Saturday 29 November 2014

A cold arctic airmass has settled over the prairies resulting in extremely cold and frigid temperatures. These temperatures combined with even light winds will give the feeling of -40 C or even colder. Overnight and into Sunday morning will see the coldest period, with temperatures slightly rising during the day. Exercise caution when going outside with these frigid temperatures.

I assume it would be inappropriate to tell you that it got up to 48F (9C) here today. :teasing-neener:
