We are to get milder temps for the next couple days (with more snow of course), then it plummets into a deepfreeze again.

Extreme Cold Warning
Issued at 4:31 a.m. CST Sunday 4 January 2015

A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected. A frigid Arctic airmass has settled over the prairies. Very cold temperatures and a brisk northwest wind is giving extreme wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 45 this morning throughout southern Saskatchewan. These extreme cold wind chills will ease a bit through the day, but bitterly cold conditions will persist today and into tonight. Lighter winds are forecast for Monday but temperatures remain well below normal.
