The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter Storm
Watch...which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday
afternoon.

* Locations...downeast Maine.
* Hazard types...snow
* accumulations...snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.
* Timing...midday Sunday into Tuesday morning.
* Impacts...moderate impact. Heavy snowfall may result in difficult driving conditions.
* Winds...northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* Temperatures...5 to 15 inland and 10 to 20 along the coast.
* Visibilities...possibly dropping to 1/2 miles or less late Monday into Monday night.

Ugh. Now it's 6 - 10 more inches. This time it's supposed to stick around until Tuesday, decent Wednesday, more Thursday. Just can't seem to get it to go Paint's way along with the cold. Damn.

There's still plenty of snow left. Just a lot of melting. The biggest threat is ice jams.

Got lucky with the last storm. Most of it missed my neck of the woods for a change but hammered the southern part of the state. We wound up with barely 2" of extremely fluffy white stuff. Got more snow coming tomorrow night into Friday...less than 2" expected. So works for me but at this point, none would be better. lol. Then there's another possibility of more Sunday. The only plus side...I'm off Monday and Tuesday (non-work day and holiday). If it does come my way, please let it be minimal.

praying for the minimal amount possible for you Moo!!!

we are having crazy weather patterns here.
today's high was -17°C (1°F) - tonight it is going down to -26°C (-15°F) tonight - and tomorrow morning it is suppose to be -8°C (17°F)

we've had a few days of high extremes like this ... a couple weeks ago we went from -15 to +4 in less than a day ... crazy yoyo temps this winter! (but thankfully not much sxxx!)
