Yup...you're weather is like ours...turns into a yoyo sometimes. sheesh...

More rain tomorrow. Trouble is that the nights have been rather warm, so I'm unable to leave the windows open.

Sun has come out, temps. and dew points lowering as well. Bit windy though.

yesterday the wind blew a couple of chairs off our deck - an absolute first!
today is beautiful ... not extremely warm like most people want it, but great for me. High of 55F

We've had a ceiling so low all day that it felt like mist on my face, and there were no mountains.

Are you sure that haze wasn't created by someones stash going up in smoke?

Tonight's evening news just said the Mount Evans Highway (in my county) won't be open by Memorial day weekend due to getting four feet of snow so far this month. They also showed the big yellow snow cutter, half as tall as the snow it was going through, opening Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, saying it WOULD be open for the holiday.

The cooler air has arrived, with lower dew points.

Though I wouldn't want to keep Figgy from throwing a few snowball this way.

{Its difficult to toss snowballs when one is inside their house, wrapped up in warm clothing, holding a hot cup of tea, pretending its not actually 30 degrees lower than average for this time of year... or precipitating... or gloomy... or freezing the lilac buds....}
