ok - I am soooo lucky!
I thought the branding party was today, but it ended up being on Friday instead ... yay!! (although I did think they would have been pretty much done by the time we got there (after work) so I did not take my camera ... stupid, stupid, stupid! I could have got some great shots if I had taken it.

but since the gathering was yesterday that means I was able to be home today to watch the Belmont race ... AWESOME!!!! We have a triple crown winner, ending the 37 year TC drought! WAHOO!!! Great race by American Pharoah!

I know ... *hangs head* ... and even my cell phone went dead. I got about 4 pics with it first, but lets face it, first generation cell phone cameras (my cell is pretty old) do not take very good shots.

I know ... he was out in front the whole way ... then sped up even more at the end for a 5½ length lead. Most horses start to slow down at the 1¼, but not him. What a well deserved triple crown winner! wahoo!

American Pharoah is truly amazing! On a side note...the Tonight Show just before the Kentucky Derby - Jimmy Fallon had a puppy race, each puppy wearing the name of a horse entered in the Kentucky Derby...the puppy that won was wearing American Pharoah! Who knew?!
