Saturday was hot - and it ended with extremely high humidity and a thunderstorm (with hail). It never did cool off on Sat night ... made for a long night

Hope the bug population was tolerable.

let's just say that the damsel dragonflies are probably starving up there right now. (Unbelievable!) think it is an off year for them too. A few mosquitoes came out just before the rain - but I think they were 'supper' before they bothered us too much when we were outside

you aren't going to believe this ... we have a 'heavy rainfall' warning in effect.
apparently the system is coming up from Montana
(I am thinking this really isn't going to make the farmers happy at all ... the peas are ready to be harvested)

just checked the wildfire management reports ... this is what it says:

•There are no longer any communities under direct threat from wildfire; all evacuation orders have been lifted.

there are still 10 uncontained fires being battled in northern sk, near the La Ronge area; 25 are under ongoing assessment
