Nineties here for the next few days, as well.
Though the dew points will be much higher than in Howlerville.
None of the storms developed.

Not mine! 72°F dew point now.

Pretty nasty out, right now.

So - it was 95 F/35 C in Denver today. I was critter sitting for some friends who went to the high country to see the Perseids better. As I headed home around 1pm there were towering nasty black storm clouds over my county, lots of lightning, but by the time I got home it was just a pleasant rain and maybe 70 F/21 C... (The evil storms headed East and are now giving parts of the southern 'burbs a go.)

I'd never make it as a NASCAR driver. The 90s F/30s C exhaust me!

Not really. Most of the storms have skipped past us. The really good flooding was a couple days ago, west of Colorado Springs (three or so hours from here).

I am, however, concerned about this "Godzilla" el nino they are talking about.

Do you believe it will be responsible for a Mothra winter?

From the expert (something or other) I was listening to the other day, he presumed/predicted that only the coastal cities will experience the Godzilla effects; inward lands were suppose to get milder weather similar to last year's winter. Time will tell.

rained yesterday evening; rained during the night and rained again this morning.

With all the rains, has the greater Howler region begun to green-up a bit?

Still hot & humid here.

Our weather guys are comparing the el nino to the winter of 1997, sort of like Moo's last winter was.
