The site only gives tidbits ... I am really disappointed so far.

for example ... I wanted to see a list of the past and present teachers (professors) at Hogwarts. I typed in Hogwarts and selected "Hogwarts teachers past and present"... all you get is 8 characters.

I think they will get all the info soon on the site, maybe they launch it too early but still, it´s a good way to keep us checking it almost on a daily basis, I know I will. with the old site you only had the duels and potions and that was it once you went through the story game.

lol - but I worked so stinking hard on some of those potions!
especially the one that opened the door to the slithering common room!

lol - I had fun earning the badges, etc.
I often went back to the site just so that I could watch the video clips/scenes
I loved going back to play the "garden gnome toss" and to the chapter where Draco was a ferret (loved bouncing him around)

I don't find the new site magical in any way.
Information is lost behind frustrating clicks and more clicks.

If JKR wanted it to be magical, she should have given us something before it went live ... even a tidbit would have been nice.

I think it will be magical, they should have included something from the old site though so we don´t feel so lost but I bet most of the users didn´t log in every day so there was no point keeping it like that in terms of gains (not sure how you get money from a site if nobody pays anything, but that is because I am from another century lol). But we have to wait and see.

ok - now I really sm frustrated and disappointed!
I clicked the "Tell us what you think" ... I chose "ask a question" ... then 'next'
this is what popped up:

Follow us on social media where you can get involved in the conversation.
    Pottermore on Facebook
    Pottermore on Twitter
    Pottermore on Instagram
    Pottermore on Tumblr

good grief ... we aren't even allowed to ask questions! (well, unless one is a facebook, twitter etc user!) Very disappointed thus far. It is going to have to improve a whole lot more for me to like this "glossy coated one-side tabloid type" site

:angry-soapbox: stepping down ... waiting for some magic to reappear on the new site

I'm starting to think that Warner Bros. has something to do with this.
