If Howler is trying to send this... Her spells are becoming a lot like Aunt Clara's.

At 820 PM CDT... an area of intense snow showers was over southeast
Wisconsin... moving south at 30 mph. These snow showers will move
into northern Illinois after 830 PM CDT... and may bring a brief
period of near whiteout conditions... gusty winds to 40 mph... and
quick accumulations of snow up to an inch in some spots. Motorists should
be prepared to slow down due to reduced visibility in snow and
blowing snow... and watch for possible slick spots.




... Freeze warning remains in effect from 1 am to 9 am CDT
Saturday...

* temperatures... 20 to 25 with upper teens possible in sheltered
valleys. The temperatures will be below 28 degrees at least 9
hours... and possibly as long as 12 hours for some areas.
* Timing... 1 am Saturday morning to 9 am Saturday morning.
* Impacts... new growth of vegetation will be damaged if
sensitive plants are not protected.

lol- Aunt Clara was so funny! Loved watching her bumble on that show.

The winds actually died down here for a change. Had to brush the snow from the truck windows prior to work this morning.
Very sunny today, but more weird stuff on the way.

we had one tiny reprieve on Thurs evening ... that is about it.

glad you got some white stuff ... were you able to build a snowman?

Not enough to have fun in. Plus rain today any warmer.

we had more loud winds through the day and night ... it is beginning to get quite unbearable!

This past week has been nuts. Rain, snow (less than 1"), more rain, a little more snow, windy as hell, temps all over the place. Good Lord! At least I was one of the lucky ones not to lose power; plenty of debris all over. Luckily nothing huge. Just a lot of twigs of various sizes. At least the weekend has been sunny and the winds haven't been as bad. More rain tomorrow and Tuesday then supposed to be sunny the rest of the week. We'll see.

We have sunshine. All the vampires are shriveling up, spewing smoke.... We are supposed to be saved by rain and gloom of night later this evening, though.

Drizzle all day today.
