the grass is just beginning to get a hint of green.
no green blur around distant trees yet either.


but at least we didn't get the snow Calgary got yesterday ... well, not yet; the day's not over.

I don't think the spring runoff from the mountains has been in full effect yet. Not safe until July-ish.

So far, so good. No white stuff, just rain. Rivers are high and luckily no flooding. Found out a couple of days ago Moosehead Lake is still frozen - folks are still ice fishing up there. Not looking forward to when the lake thaws out...all that water has to go somewhere which means down the rivers and streams. Hopefully we'll only have to deal with high rivers and no flooding.

ok - it snowed again on Tuesday (yuck-yuck-yuck)
but the cold front is easing up it's grip and today looks very promising.
we are to have sunshine and 16°c (60°f)
:pray: please let spring begin ...
