True fog makes for wonderful pics. At least it was gone by mid-day most of the time. I'm so not a fan of fog.

I agree - I only like fog for photos; not driving in.


well the mother of monsoon season is about to hit us.
the rain is expected to last 3 days, and on Wednesday the rain is to turn into the S-word.

my drive home was high winds and near white out conditions due to the "S" stuff.

The "S" stuff shut down I-70 Tuesday morning for a couple hours until the sun was finally able to come out.

we have tons of the white stuff in my back yard this morning - until I get on the road to drive to work, I won't know if it is like that all over, or if it is just drifted in my yard. Think I had better leave for work early this morn; going to be a longgg drive.

there were more vehicles in the ditch on my way home than there were this morning on my way to work - and the roads were a whole lot crappier this morning. I think all the scraping and sanding must have given some drivers a false sense of security. pity. There is a semi in a ditch (a very very very deep ditch), so not sure how the heck they are going to get him out. He's be better off just driving through the coulee and fields than go back up the way he drove down. Mind you, I'm not entirely sure if the semi was upright or not.

and this system is supposed to hang around for a few more days ... the fun just never ends
