Did you serve Tombstone pizza at the picnic?

When I was a small child, I began tagging along with my father every year when he went on the annual cemetery rounds, to place markers and flags at the graves of deceased members of our local fire dept.
To this day I carry on the tradition. The difference being, for the last twenty three years, he too has been the recipient of a brass marker & flag.
Interesting, my father, grandfather, and great grandfather, are all buried in different cities.
I'm still surprised and angered when people steal the markers. It doesn't happen often, but I have trouble understanding that level of disrespect for the dearly departed...

I agree Paint .. I don't understand a lot of things people do that are so disrespectful.

Not sure where else to put this, so here goes.
"The Silkworm" is being released this week. Is anyone planning to read it?
And why is JK still using the Galbraith name when the cover even states she wrote it?

I guess it could go in the book section, but no matter really. We can just as easily discuss it here.

I am going to have to google it - I was not aware that JKR's name was on the cover.
I will likely read it ... the last one wasn't too bad; not great but anything beats the first one published after the HP series. If the book isn't as good as or better than the last one, it will most likely be the last I read of her new gumshoe books.

I didn't think it would generate enough interest to warrant its own thread.
I haven't decided if I'll read it.

I found these links:
Is J.K. Rowling auditioning to be Hogwarts’s next Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?

silkworm - Chapter 2

after reading chapter 2, it sounds like the same pattern as the last book.
but the first link says a bit more about the plot.

personally, I think they are treating chapter 2 as a fishing line ... casting it out because the last few fishing expeditions have not provided enough $$.
