Yikes. Hope everything is okay, Paint. Rained most of the day Friday...cool, damp, yuck. But my lawn did need watering. Back to the 3Hs the next few days. Yea. Let the melting begin.

Had quite a few tree limbs blow down, some small hail, and a couple of lightning hits.

No injures, but with the humidity, we were just as soaked as if we hadn't been wearing our gear.

she's supposed to get pretty darn warm today ... then a thunderstorm (with high winds of course) which will cool everything down to very low temps for another week.

Cooler around here of late, though still very muggy.

Thank goodness, Paint. Glad it wasn't worse. Thunderstorms all afternoon (that was fun) with flood watches in my neck of the woods. Quiet now and cooling off; dew points aren't as bad at the moment. Hopefully decent sleeping weather tonight so I can leave my bedroom window open.

My brother still lives in Las Vegas...115 degrees. I love a dry 105 degree heat but that's just nuts this time of year. We're drenched and he's baking. Yikes!

that news is not what I wanted to hear!
we may get highs of 65F today ... with wind gusts up to 60k
sure would be nice if the wind eased up a bit and if it would warm up to at least 75.
obviously it is too much to ask this year - it is either 60ish or 90ish and not much else in between

I would be considered a threat to the local provincial "Power" (pun intended)
I am ever so glad the Alberta winds died down a bit before hitting us. Apparently it took of business roofs, uprooted many trees and did a bunch of other nasty damage that high winds usually does. Their wind was clocked at over 120K.
