Woke up to it snowing Friday. For a few hours there was no snow then still snowing at 8:00. Think we got maybe 5". Hasn't been too cold - can see my driveway - but another 3 to 6 inches expected tomorrow, then one hell of a rush of cold air Thursday and Friday. Oh joy. Winter decided to show up way too soon this year.

Saturday and Sunday here were below freezing, snowy, dreary, bah humbug.... Icy under the snow so I didn't even try to go see FB2. I bet the yucky weather you have coming is the same system we just had.
Today the snow melted back to the shadowed spots, roads dry and safe, almost too sunny. Its supposed to be nice until next weekend, when we get snow and cold again.

We are supposed to get a bit of a reprieve from the arctic temps and 'white-stuff' falling ... just warm enough to melt everything into ice. Going to be fun, fun, fun (not!) Winter started way too early this year!!!

Is it spring yet????

We get our reprieve tomorrow BUT highs will be mid teens and "breezy" which means wind chills will be unreal. Then in the 40's this weekend. Weather is so confused!!

lucky you get 40's this weekend. We are predicted to get chilly again. Not a deep freeze, but chilly none the less. Highs of 14F over the weekend.

Cold, cold, cold today. Wind chill sucked big time...negative all day, not any better tonight. Saturday is supposed to be the good day; rain Sunday into Monday, snow showers Tuesday. Oh well. Just going to go with it. What else do you do.

It was nice-for-Fall all week (45F/7C), supposed to stay nice through Friday night, then be cold and snowy all weekend.

There is currently about 1⁄4" on the step right now (24 hours early)... its not supposed to be above freezing until Tuesday... and 8-to-10 inches by Sunday daytime.

Oh joy.

Freezing rain to rain back to freezing rain and/or snow later. Tomorrow is supposed to be okay but another storm tomorrow night and all day Tuesday. What fall? Didn't last long before winter stuff invaded us. lol. Oh well.

I hear you Moo ... for us this year it went from winter (to May), to 1-week spring, then summer, then 1 week autumn, then winter (1st snow was Sept 29) ... this year is a complete writeoff GRRRRRR
how the hell can they claim 'global warming' when we are now getting longer winters????
has logic completely left the minds of these people?
