removing McGonagall's birthday from Pottermore? Just because of the backlash due to inconsistencies?
Why couldn't they have just got it right in the first place ... why did they put Minerva's character in the movie in the first place??? Math may not have been JKR's 'thinkg', but even she must have known that putting a character that isn't even born yet into a movie as a grown up teacher would cause some issues with the fans.

Some interesting notes about the main characters - like why is the movie title have Newt's name, when clearly he is not the main character. We've all known this is about Grindelwald and Dumbledore; Newt is really just the sidekick.
