Those of us in the banana belt have been enjoying nice weather. Yeah, there are snowflakes floating around, most times in sunlight, and its below freezing overnights, but days are not freezing, I'm not having to shovel, and its generally quite nice for this time of year.

today a bunch of us got to watch semi trucks trying to get up the hill at my workplace. It joins onto a highway so always have to stop and wait for traffic. The main roads were cleared but the secondary roads have not been - making it very very difficult for them poor drivers. Two of them had to get towed. It wouldn't be so bad, but there is a corner just before the hill, and with all the ice and slush they had major problems backing up and/or getting stuck. LOL - work entertainment!

Freezing rain never materialized, but we did get a couple of snow showers.

It was however, a very pleasant very gray day. :P :P

Been okay here. Cold, winds not too bad. No crappy weather until this Thursday into Friday. Paint kind of weather - snow, freezing rain, ice. Not sure how much yet; supposed to transition into rain at some point. Oh joy. Driving to work Friday should be a blast. Yup.

temps and weather have be so bizarre here since Thursday.
Thursday morning we had an snow/ice/sleet storm (so much fun driving to work!)
Friday the temps started rising
Saturday the temps continued to rise and the winds howled (it reached 12C - 54F)
Today, the temps begin to drop again (all that melted snow will become pure ice - oh yay)
by next week we will be in cold weather again .... not a deep freeze, but cold enough to wish it was spring!

HMM... :think: The temps. yesterday were 9°(F) higher up in Howlerville, then We're forecast to get. :naughty: :doh:
