Today (Sunday) was Summertime - Denver tied all time high for today of 74F-23+C, we were sunny and shirt-sleeve weather.
Tomorrow (Monday) through Tuesday is supposed to be 6-12" snow, and not get above freezing until Thursday.

Short sleeves and snow shovels. Interesting.

we are to have a somewhat nice week this week; then back to colder weather

tidbit of news:
A wedding photographer from my town thought she would do some photos of an engagement(?) on the river last week. Her and her husband were in the side-by-side vehicle and guess what ... yup ... they fell through. The vehicle was completely submerged; the only thing that saved them was that there were two layers of ice and the vehicle landed on the second layer. They were able to climb out. Apparently it took them two hours to find help. They are so very lucky to be alive! I can't imagine how devastated her family would have been. They have four small children and her father is the current mayor.

we have had such up and down weather this year, and I really don't think any of the ice is safe.

Sort of reminds me of the stupid people that think it's cool to trespass onto and take photos on train tracks.

Darwin award narrowly avoided.

How much was the loss of equipment?
Being wet, out in the elements, in Winter, for two hours. ** hardier than me **

Reminds me of the time I fell through the floor during a Funeral Home fire. I luckily landed on top of the furnace. Only falling about four feet. I too, was able to craw out. Of course everyone was making fun of me. :confusion-seeingstars:
tidbit of news: The casket showroom was in the basement... Guess what? Coffins float! It was kind of creepy that when the water level went down, that most of the boxes returned to their stands.

I'll save the story of when I fell through the frozen crust of a containment of cattle waste up to my hips at a barn fire, for another time.

I double that Ewww..... (creepy!)

But go ahead Paint ... love to hear that story!!!! :teasing-neener: :laughing-rolling:

Figgy - she would have lost all the equipment she had with her. Not sure if she had everything she owned or just what she needed for the day. I am positive insurance will cover that loss.

Believe me... It wasn't nearly as bad as some of the things (involving humans) I've had to deal with. :shhh:

We had sun for a couple days (Sun&Mon) now back to clouds, and snow tonight.
