Updated forecast... Snow today, but only about three inches of accumulation, if that.

Sounds like us here. Snow hit or miss then found us Thursday (when I had the back spasms). Got about 3". Friday I didn't have to go to work ("snow" day) but wow...ice, ice, baby. Was a freaking mess! Snow, sleet, freezing rain, more snow, more sleet, more snow...ugh! At least I didn't have to drive in it. Wound up with only a couple inches of snow but about 1/3 inch of ice everywhere. Had a hell of a time cleaning off my car Friday night and yesterday morning.

This morning when I got up...6 below; 9 above at the moment. And sunny, sunny, sunny. More snow tonight into tomorrow morning; only a few inches. Have the day off tomorrow but have to do blood work for my annual physical next week. At least I won't have to go far. lol.

Forgot to mention Friday, one of the back roads that has a lot of hills had to be closed - 18 wheeler got stuck trying to get up one of the hills. State police asked truckers to avoid that area and warned cars it was down to one lane due to the truck that got stuck.

We got 4", still coming down. This how it was last year, nothing in January, then makes up for it in Feb and March. I'll still take snow over "too dry" later on.

Some people from Dallas rented a vacation house up here for 7th through 10th. I-70 was shut down on the 7th so they couldn't get here until the 8th, not sure what tripped them up on the 8th, but today their electric was off for four hours starting at 5:30 am (not sure of the temp at 5:30, but its only up to the mid-teens F/-8 or -9 C in the afternoon today). Seems like a vacation from hell story.

Doesn't sound too bad to me.

Only got about an inch and a half of snow. Now it's above freezing...

Finally had a little Howler weather the other day.* Temps went down to a reasonable -12°F (-24°C)

But alas... its stay was all too short.

*Okay, moderate by those standards.

Yup, Paint, our winter has been mild so far but for Maine, winter usually lasts until May. We've had an inch or two here, an inch or two there then cold, cold, cold! Temps Friday was 0, 8 below yesterday morning. Got a little more snow this morning; snow lately has been fluffy so it hasn't been hard to move. Temps this morning, btw...21. But more snow Tuesday afternoon, only 2 - 5, but supposed to be wet, heavy, and plowable. Yippee. I was hoping for fluffy. Fingers crossed.
