I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Almost a third of the T&E employees have been furloughed. The Elkhart, IN terminal is almost gone.
Beginning Saturday the work schedule goes to a six & two week*. With mandatory twelve hour shifts.

Fortunately, all the managers have been spared. With any luck there will be enough of us left, so the managers get their year-end bonuses.



* Maximum allowed by law for Hours of Service workers.
BTW: If they choose, they can still refuse our 20 min. lunch period.

good grief! that is outrageous! nothing short of slavery really!
and it appears all across the continent, ... maybe I shouldn't get started as to how upsetting "company greed" is

good to know that you still have a job! and that you are already counting the days to retirement!
