I stopped measuring at 17" but know we got a good 10" more. I went out and shoveled every three hours Saturday into Sunday morning, then decided I needed to just go to bed and worry about it when I got up. It was really pretty as it fell, though. It clumped up on the bushes and looked worthy of a Christmas card.

Its up to the sills of my livingroom windows.

Its the cats' favourite place, hence the smudges and chipped-off paint.

LOL - those lions certainly looked like they enjoyed it. Picture perfect when they stood atop the rock ... so wishing I had been there with my camera!!

Here - on the 18th and 19th we broke 'high temp' records (from 1910)... unbelievable! It was over 60° both days. It has since returned to far more seasonal temps though.

We are not out of our drought, but that snow officially made this the wettest March on record.

Glad you made it through that mess, Figgy. Been seeing some of what was hitting your neck of the woods on the news. Unbelievable! We've had a ton of fog that cleared out by noon...except Friday. That got rain mixed with it. And we need the rain as we didn't get nearly the snowfall we usually get. Supposed to have heavy rain and wind later today into tonight. Hoping the power stays on because of the winds (30-40 mph). No snow, not even in the mountains. Praying we don't fall into a wicked drought like we did last year.

In some respect, I am lucky ... I did not get stranded at work (got one of those pressure system migraines so took a couple sick days)

in the last storm from hell in January, my gate got pushed to the opposite side of where it should be; this time I lost a lot of shingles. I certainly hope this isn't the norm for this year (hurricane winds every two months)

today, and this weekend - it will feel like spring again. Temps are climbing up to the 50's & 60's ... YAY!

wow, Ladies! Been totally different here, except the winds. Been getting plenty of those. But hardly any snow, a lot of rain. Temps have been nice during the day but the past few nights have been in the lower 20s. A bit brrrrrr in the mornings. Clouds this morning, maybe an inch of snow by early tomorrow, drizzling rain tomorrow. Yup. It's Maine.

Denver set a record for high temp today. It was 80F/26.667C. Up in my neck of the woods it was 64F/17.8C.
Tomorrow is supposed to also be nice, then snow on Tuesday.

Broke a temperature record Friday - 70 degrees! Enjoyed opening my kitchen AND living room window. Fresh air...what a concept! Now we're supposed to be cloudy and in the 50s this coming week with little to no rain until Friday. Then it's supposed to be partly sunny to sunny next weekend. We'll see; Mother Nature just loves to suddenly PMS for no apparent reason. *sighs*
