We've gotten most of our snow this week. Cleared my car off 4 times the first part of last week. Missed my plow guy once (working at home and stuck on a phone call) so had to dig myself out. At least I didn't have to do the end of the driveway. But my Carpal Tunnel went into overdrive - sore arms, sore hands, somewhat swollen fingers. Then Thursday...oy! Snow changed over to rain, slushy mess everywhere! My plow guy managed to get most of the slush moved, thank goodness. Then, of course, everything froze (sound familiar, Howler). Ice in the driveway. Yup...winter finally found Maine.

Oh...poor Muggle Son, on his way home from work one night in freaking crappy weather, hit a small patch of ice, car did a 360 then slid off the road into the median and got stuck. Thankfully he's fine and his car's alignment is slightly off. Waited 3 hours for the tow truck to pull him out. Told him be thankful it was only 3 hours. News said statewide, tow trucks were EXTREMELY busy pulling folks out of ditches and working so many accidents.

End of this week...polar vortex is going to visit. High for Friday or Saturday...0. Yippee.

That polar vortex was brutal! Holy Cow was it freezing! Had to run a quick errand Friday, thankfully my car started tho a little rough but it started. Couldn't wait to get home! brrrrrr was a definite understatement. Ran from my car to my front door; think it was the fastest I've ever gotten in the house! lol. Didn't go anywhere Saturday. Said the hell with it after my little Friday excursion. Never lost power, thank goodness, but did have to turn the heat up a little. Damn, that wind was atrocious and made the windchills nuts. Sunday was so much better. Got a few of my Saturday errands done Sunday.

Snowed this week...an inch or two here, an inch or two there...just enough to have to clean off my car twice. oy! A little snow Saturday morning...yup, clean off the car before running my errands. I'm so ready for this crap to go away. ugh.

The 13th it was about 50F/10C. Starting a bit after dark today, the 14th, it began snowing and is supposed to keep it up until Thursday morning. Lather, rinse, repeat.

We've had a little snow - a few inches at best. This week, more of the same. An inch or two here, an inch or two there, a little sun in between. Temps go up a bit then go down a bit. Rollercoaster, yoyo...take your pick. It's Maine...wait 5 minutes, the weather will change.

Yup...what Figgy said...lather, rinse, repeat.

Yea. More snow this past week...yah. Just enough this morning to cover my car. Luckily it warmed up enough and the sun came out long enough to melt it. whew. Supposed to be mid 40s this week, possible snow showers/rain Thursday and Friday, not sure about Saturday. Looks like could be snow. Oh joy. Wait and see time.

I'm so with you, Howler. Ready for this yo yo winter bs to go bye bye and ready for warm weather. Chanting...chanting...chanting...

We are doing a fun thing... Overnight it snows, an inch or three, then in the daytime it melts back so that you can see the brown grass in the yard. Then overnight it snows, then melts in the sunshine, then snows, then melts... Lather, rinse, repeat.

But ~
Everything looks like a Bev Doolittle painting, and its promising to be Springtime!
* happy dance *

Thought if March came in like a lion, it's supposed to go out like a lamb...oy!
