We had freezing rain, sleet, and a coating of ice Wednesday night (luckily just rain on the way home) into early Thursday morning.. ugh! Friday wasn't too bad. Delayed opening at work helped. The ice on my car melted just before I got ready to leave for work and the roads were in pretty good shape by then.

Been sunny and beautiful since but windy. Still got that darned windchill. oy! Supposed to be sunny until next weekend...and...wait for it...70 degrees Thursday and Friday! YIPPEE!!! So planning on opening my windows and airing out my house!!!

We get one more summery wonderful day (3 in a row!) then go back to winter. * sigh *

The first part of the week...sunny and wind from the north so windchill in play but still temps were good. Thursday in the 60s and Friday was 76! Had my windows open...felt great!!!!

Rain today, tomorrow evening/night into Tuesday but that's okay. Now we need some rain. Wednesday through Friday...more sun then rain Saturday. Mid 50s all week, a little chilly at night. I can live with it. lol

We are still on the roller-coaster, a couple nice days, then a couple snowy ones.

Last week the snowy ones were really weird, first the "snow" was more like cloud particles falling... teeny tiny flakes that looked more like fog unless you looked really closely and saw them actually be affected by gravity. Then they went to tiny styrofoam ball type, but really really small seed bead size.

There are beginning to be green blades coming up through the brown mat. * happy dance * Its still mostly brown, but there is the promise.

No snow here but green blades doing the same thing here. And the trees are starting to show buds! "happy happy dance"

Supposed to have rain on/off starting sometime tonight, lasting through Wednesday. Totals about 1/2" if we're lucky. Supposed to be nice starting Thursday and going through the weekend. Hope it stays that way; driving to and from Dover in good weather is preferable. tee hee!

I was out in a long sleeved shirt with a fleece vest today, sometimes that was too warm - then a front went through and it was suddenly quite chilly. Tonight it is supposed to do 8"-12" snow.

Have I mentioned how much I like Summertime?

Happy Dover trip!

been a roller coaster of temps here as well.

we have had 6-months of hard winter. The white crap has FIINALLY disappeared (well, mostly - there is still a bunch in the shady areas across the land). We went from -15 one day to +18 in less than two days. Need I say that roads got washed out; creeks flooded ... and a lot of other fun stuff.

The birds started coming back on Easter weekend.
still no green in sight ... ugh!

Figgy ... that sounded beautiful! Snow mist? We get that here every once in a while. Weird, right!

can't wait to be complaining about how hot it is!!!
can't wait for trees to bloom and flowers to grow and blossom.

We've had so much rain since the end of April. That deluge caused a lot of small streams and a couple of rivers to flood. So many places here were under water is parts of the town. ugh!

At least what we've gotten lately is more normal. Did get hail and a little snow the other day but not enough to do anything. Some place actually got a whiteout! ew! Supposed to be more seasonal (mid 60s during the day) and sunny through next weekend. Think it's time to go to a baseball game.

send that rain our way Moo ... we sure could use some!

we literally went from winter to summer. blizzards and icy roads, and then 3 days later, temps into the high 20's and low 30s (70s to mid 80s)

All my seeds are seeded, plants planted and baskets hung. Glorious!
