A witch/wizard is presented with a wand on the first day of school. After being "sorted" by the hat, the student must walk beneath an "arch". This arch detects the magical powers and personality of each student; the appropriate wand magically appears in their hand. If a wand gets broken, or a personality drastically changes, then the student is allowed to stand within the arch again.



How does one correctly open The Monster Book of Monsters?
