How much H-Potter rights did JK Rowling give up to WB or HBO?

The TV show could be very interesting. They would have the unique opportunity to include more indepth information from the book chapters. Wouldn’t that be awesome! The conversations within the stories (that run through our thoughts) would become a visual reality. How extraordinary that would be!

YES: To retain the essence and integrity of the books – to portray the book characters in the way that they were meant to be portrayed.

If they are worried about character casting, then they should also be EXTREMELY cautious if attempting to deviate from the original story; taking creative liberties.

Guess that makes me one of those “HP Purists”.
