What you lack in subtlety, you make up for in enthusiasm. :P

* snorf * They sort of have been doing a pleasant sprinkle up here in the mountains then gaining attitude as they go to the Plains to the East.

However, Crazy Guy (who called cops on me three weeks ago because his wood-working project got wet - - I am more and more conviced it got wet by his own hand...) does stand out in the rain using electrically powered equipment. John (who helped with my mom) and I had a discussion about if we should call paramedics when the idiot zapped himself standing in a puddle while running a saw.

Have the rains been enough to keep your vegetation watered?

I've been afraid to actually water my yard (only been doing the trees, they're closer to my house, and been having someone witness it), so the rain is doing what the poor place gets... Yard is all yellow-y like old straw.

Does the kitchen sink have one of those spray hoses you could accidentally aim out the window for a few hours?

However, now that the landlord sees the condition of the yard, he may be a bit more sympathetic to your position.

I don't know Figgy ... if it is brown, then crazy neighbor and landlord can't accuse you of over watering. Doesn't make pretty though.
